Mission 4: Mountain Rescue
--------------------------
X: 23612 Y: 6285
Mission Briefing:
Jade Tan, the Agency asset that you first encountered at Karl Blaine's house,
has been taken by the military.
Getting in contact with Jade Tan is crucial to your operation. She's being
held prisoner at the Kastelo Singa military base up in the mountains.
By destroying the base, you should be able to force Jade Tan's captors out,
enabling you to get inside and rescue her.
Reward:
Chaos - +10000
Money - +20000
Weapon Parts - +3
Vehicle Parts - +3
Hop into the helicopter and head towards the base. The first things you
should take out are the SAM sites so you can fly freely. Start taking out the
guards near each station.
Each station can be taken out by two triggered explosives. Each station also
has plenty of guards that you can take out to make things easier or just run
in and get out quickly.
After all four are destroyed, make your way to the base entrance to save
Jade. Once you get there, you find out she's gone! What a surprise. And now
for something completely different, NINJAS!
That's right, ninjas with magical powers and guns are out to kill you. Shoot
them in the head or try and land an explosive near them to kill them. Keep
moving or they will kill you.
Now you have to catch up to the car convoy before they get to the submarine.
Use this oportunity to hijack one of the MV Commands that the guards are
driving. This is one of the only points in the game to drive the vehicle.
Once you are ready to save Jade, hijack the car she is in and a cut scene will
roll and the mission will be completed.

Mission 3: The White Tiger
--------------------------X: 8191 Y: 22953
Mission Briefing:
It has come to your attention that the man they call the 'White Tiger' is most
probably none other than Tom Sheldon.
But you need to find him to be able to sort things out, and maybe kill him.
One of the White Tiger's men has been located at a gambling warehouse, where
he is to be executed because of his many gambling debts.
Should you rescue him, he might be able to reveal the White Tiger's
whereabouts in return.
Reward:
Chaos - +10000
Money - +20000
Weapon Parts - +3
Vehicle Parts - +3
Get to the gambler's den and kill the three guards in the towers. This will
cause the people to come out. Grab a sniper rifle and shoot the required guy
in the head to rescue the objective.
Get down to the guy and kill the two guards that come running in. Follow the
guy as he leads you out. Stop and kill any of the groups of guards that are in
the way. The guy will lead you to some motorcycles. Hop on and follow him.
No trip through the desert is complete without and ambush from the military.
Quickly hop off the bike and kill the guards so Pang doesn't get hurt. Move
through and kill the rest of the enemies and hop on the second set of bikes.
Once you get to the next area, you have to take out a colonel surrounded by
many guards. Once you kill the colonel, he will drop a data device that you
must retrieve.
Now you need to get to a location about 1.5 km away. A chopper will come and
attack you and Rico will note that his ride is here. Hijack the helicopter
and take it to the objective.
Now that you have met Tom Sheldon, you need to escape with him. Grab the
minigun and mow through all of the enemies that attack you. Just follow Tom
and eventually you will have killed all of the guards.
So after the tutorial first mission it's time to start roaming around and
least they are pretty easy right? Anyway, you are now at a lovely casino and need to rescue a guy trapped on the top who is going to be shot at any second.
There will be a first set of guards attacking you on your way to the casino. Nothing you haven't seen before. To spice things up a bit, there will a Demolitions officer throwing all of his explosive goods at you. Headshots are definitely the way to go here as he is quite resistant to body shots. Try not to be near him when he dies as he lets out a bunch of grenades that are rigged to blow. Once they blow up, you can loot his weapons and grenades.
Now that you have dealt with the ground troops, it is time get up the top of the casino and deal with some explosive charges planted by the guards up there. At the top, there will be three guards in each tower guarding the charge. There is also an ammo box with an assault rifle in it so be sure to pick that up. Hack each box and you are welcomed to the easy as hell button pressing mini-game.
Once you clear each charge, a chopper will rise up to attack. Grapple onto it and then move to the front of the chopper. Kill the guard hanging out and then you can hijack the chopper. Whenever you hijack an enemy vehicle, you will have to complete a button pressing sequence with three presses. Anyway, once you hijack the helicopter, be ready to use it deal with another helicopter that is flying in. This particular helicopter is only equipped with miniguns so you'll have to make do with them.
After you defeat the helicopter, a cut scene will roll and Blaine will be in trouble. Quickly bail out of the helicopter and get to Blaine. Once you get near him a cut scene will roll and you'll parachute to safety.
Of course this can't be the end of this mission as it was too easy. Now you'll have to get back to Blaine's house will riding on top of his car. You need to start by using the nearby tractor to pull Blaine's car out of a ditch because he is a drunk douche and won't drive anything else. Attach a dual hook between the tractor and the car and pull the car out with the tractor. Afterwards, you will need to jump on the roof and Blaine will start driving to his house. Make sure you pick up any ammo you need before jumping on.
Will you are riding, you will be attacked multiple times by enemies and their Humvees. My personal favorite method is to use the dual hook on their vehicles and then attach the hook to the ground to fling them off of the road or off of a bridge. You can always shoot them but what fun is that? You also conserve ammo if you only use the grappling hook.
After a few minutes, you will finally pull up to Blaine's house and the mission will be complete. After this, you can finally begin your free roam.
--------------------------- Mission 1: Welcome to Panau ---------------------------
The mission starts with a cut scene of you and some Agency members flying into the mountains in a helicopter. Eventually, you are attacked and you jump out of the helicopter to retrieve your PDA from the free falling gunner.
Once you gain control, use this part to familiarize yourself with sky diving. Your goal here is to catch up to the dead gunner to retrieve your PDA. You really just need to come close to him and another cut scene will trigger.
Now that you have received your PDA, you are good to go. But wait! The memory cards need to be retrieved. There will be a landing zone about 1 km away. Just fall until you are close and then deploy your parachute. Like before, the game will cut away to a cut scene once you get close enough.
Now that you are finally on foot, you need to obtain the five lost memory cards. Run forward and when you near the wall, you will instructed to use your grappling hook. Once you get on top of the wall, there will be a guard on top of the next building. The game will mark him so it will be easier to see him. Use your grappling hook to pull him down and to kill him.
Once you pull the first guard down, the first memory card will be up ahead. Climb up the wall and get to the memory card to pick it up. At this, the base will be alerted to your presence. Once you pick up the memory card, two guards will run out on the building across from you. Notice those explosive barrels on the roof? Wait until the guards are under them and give them a good yank with your grappling hook and the guards will explode quite nicely.
After killing the two guards, you will obtain your first weapon, the simple, but effective pistol. At this point, some guards will be running down the ramp to attack you. Use these guards to train your aiming with weapons. The best place is obviously the head. Try using your grappling hook to pull them or to hook them to walls or the ground. To use the double hook, hold down the grappling hook button and then release it on a different object and those two objects will be tethered together.
At the top of the ramp, there will be three more guards moving around in their cover shooting at you. To the left and on top of a satellite dome, there will be two more guards next to an explosive barrel (hint hint).
After dealing with the guards, the second memory card will be on the roof of the building near you and right next to a flak cannon. Hop in the flak cannon and get ready to shoot down an enemy chopper that's coming in. While in the flak cannon, do you notice all of the satellites and radio towers etc.? Shoot them with the flak cannon to start causing some chaos. Chaos is what progresses the game. Cause enough chaos and more missions will unlock.
Once you are ready to move on, head to the lift system. You will notice a weapon part right next to it. This is one of the many resource items in the game. You can use weapon parts to upgrade weapons in the black market later on.
At the top of the lift will be some more guards, an ammo box, and a health box. After taking care of a few more guards, the third memory card is yours. Once you pick up the third memory card, you will be informed the next one is on a soldier over 400m away with a large gap inbetween you and him. Grapple onto the lift car and about halfway before you get to the car, deploy your parachute. This technique, known as slingshotting, is a very efficient way of maneuvering across the map.
The soldier will be yielding a submachine gun which is one of the most useful guns in the game as it does excellent damage and there is always ammo for it. Go ahead and defeat the soldier and his small contingent of guards to pick up the fourth memory card.
Once you pick up the fourth memory card, your helicopter will come back to take you to the last memory card. Grapple on and enjoy the ride. Once you get near to the buildings, you can stay on and shoot the guards on the buildings or do it your own way and jump down and deal with them. It doesn't really matter as you have to leave the helicopter eventually.
The last memory card will pop up but it is guarded by two gunners on miniguns. Take cover and either shoot them in the face or grapple them to yank them off and kill them. Once they are dead, feel free to pick up the last memory card.
You know those miniguns that were just firing at you? How about some payback in the form of minigun carnage. Mount one of the miniguns and then you are able to detach it and walk around with it. Walk up the ramp and let it rain on soldiers and any destructibles alike. Don't worry about ammo as it is unlimited and the gun does not overheat.
Once you destroy the two required SAM sites, you need to hold out for a little longer until your helicopter arrives to back you up. Some enemies will spawn behind you in their Humvees and will drive up to you. Go ahead and use that minigun to blast them. Once Kane arrives, grapple on and you will have completed the mission.

At any time, up may have two one-handed weapons and one two-handed weapon. Ammo is plentiful for some guns but rare for others so use it wisely. Weapons can be upgraded in the black market provided you have collected enough weapon parts. Upgrading definitely makes the game easier for the later missions.
There are 104 vehicles plus and DLC vehicles not included in the original 104. As of the time of this writing, the Vanderbildt Leisure Liner is incredibly rare and is almost impossible to get. While it is possible to get lucky and find it, you are better off waiting for a patch or getting a DLC vehicle if you are looking for the achievement.
Note: If a car is not at the location, it is because it obviously does not always spawn there. Extract somewhere and extract back to see if it spawns. Most vehicles can be found on the road at least once.
I recommend playing through the game once and doing plenty of missions and challenges. That way, almost every vehicle should be used at least once. It would probably take more time trying to travel to each place to see if the car has spawned.

Heat level 4. Pretty rare and annoying to get in level 4, but I eventually found one while causing chaos in the desert.
